Semiotics
The definition of semiotics is the study of signs. It has a total of 3 categories; iconic, indexical, and symbolic.
  • Iconic: a sign that stands for its object of  resemblance to it
  • Indexical: something used to point out a sign
  • Symbolic: serving as a symbol

 My Symbol
This is the old Arizona Western College sign . Overs the years is changed but it still gives the same meaning. To me it is a symbol of education. A mountain that everybody climbs to better themselves.
