RGB.Jpeg (old)

This is the prev image traced in high fidelity. Prior to .ai is was opened in .psd with the resolution changed to 235.5px and had stayed indexed color mode. This could only be saved as a .jpeg to preserve quality.

RGB.Gif (New)

This is a new vector of the Sony logo image traced in high fidelity and saved as a GIF.

Raster RGB & Idexed Increasd Resolution Quality Comparison

Our goal of the this project is to compare the differences in quality of an RGB and indexed color modes. We first opened both images in Photoshop. Below image changed to RGB mode from indexed color. we then raised the resolution to 1000px for both images. Th second below image stayed as indexed with a 1000px resolution.

Compared to the above it looks grainy and not as great.

Clone Tool

Clone tool allows you to copy the object and place it any where else. What I did was move my hair was my and add on to it. To give myself more than the original image.

GIF Colors and Quality

Gif 6 Colors

This an image i saved for we with no dither and has only 6 colors in the image. Has a file size of 12kb with pretty good quality.

Gif 200 Colors

This is another image with no dither except I gave it 200 colors. Has a file size of 49kb and nice quality.

Vector File Size Comparison

Goal of the project was to see the difference in file size and # of points in the vectorized images.

Simple

Has under 14000 pts and 2.1mbs
Complex

Has a total of 32,450 pts and a file size of 9.5mbs

Has two points and file size is 1.6mb

Selection Tools

Rectangle Selection Tool

Selects the object in a rectangle or square shape.

Ellipse Selection Tool

Selects objects in a either oval or circle shape

Lasso Selection Tool

Allows you  to free hand your selection of and object.

Magnetic Lasso Selection Tool

Gives you a preselection of an object but may not capture entirety object. Reason is that it is dependent heavy colors.

Polygonal Lasso Tool

Allows you to select an object by making geometric shapes around it. 

Magic Wand Selection Tool

Allows a precise preselection of an object but again may not capture all of it

Liquify Filter

Forward warp Tool

With the this tool it let's you move an image colors around.

Bloat Tool

Bloat tool allows you to enlarge the object in the image.

Pucker Tool

Pincher parts of an image makes it look like a very sour image.
